Earthship Ironbank is open to all as a Bed and Breakfast! Come and experience Australia's first Council Approved Earthship: off-grid and super sustainable.

AirBnB will display all costs during the booking process and give you a total price; however, the cost is approximately $320 per night (off-peak) with a minimum stay of two nights = $740 payable to AirBnB. This includes a cleaning fee of $50. Also included: breakfast food, and freshly laundered linen, and towels.
Breakfast food is: eggs, fruit, muesli, bread & spreads, tea, coffee, and milk ... if you are vegan let us know and we will ensure you are catered for.
Check In is from 3pm - self check in
Check Out is 12noon
Suitable for one couple (one queen-size bed). Some feedback from elderly guests is that the bed is too low (futon style as per the photos) so please be advised of this. Very young children are not allowed as this is intended as a cozy getaway for a couple (no infants or toddlers - sorry). However, children over the age of 12 could accompany an adult and share the queen bed or use the day bed in the entry room.

Directions, Address and More Info
Earthship Ironbank is a great place to relax with your favourite person. Close to the city (30min drive up the freeway) it is nestled on a north facing hillside looking into a tree lined valley and vineyard.

There is plenty to do... enjoy the local winery, Deviation Road, which is just a 5min drive away, or the pubs and restaurants in Stirling or Crafers which are a 10min drive. The closest pub is the Duck Inn (and drive through) just 7min drive away in Coromandel Valley. There is a golf course walking distance away and bushwalking in the Sir Mark Oliphant Nature Reserve (3min drive).
If you want to eat-in the kitchen is equipped with a 2 burner gas cook top, microwave, wood oven (not available in summer due to bushfire hazard), under-bench bar fridge, pots and pans etc.
The Earthship has no TV but instead it has board games, a cozy fireplace and a bath tub designed for two!! However, it has wifi so feel free to bring a laptop or tablet and enjoy some online entertainment.
It is an off-grid building, self-sufficient in electricity, water and sewage treatment, designed to fulfil all your needs with close to zero ecological impact on the planet, but you do need to understand the limitations... for example, if you use all the hot water you will need to wait for the sun or the wood fire to heat up more hot water.

Unfortunately AirBnB don't have a suitable gift voucher system operating in Australia at this stage.
